The Philadelphia Eagles dominated Super Bowl LIX, thumping the three-peat-seeking Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts was voted the game’s Most Valuable Player after delivering one of the most impressive performances in franchise history.
Hurts recorded 221 passing yards, three total touchdowns and an interception in the win. He became the first QB since San Francisco 49ers great Joe Montana to do so, logging two or more passing TDs, a rushing score and 50+ rushing yards.
“I’m still processing it,” an emotional Hurts told Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews immediately after the game.
He appreciated the full-circle moment he created, now surrounded by confetti he used as motivation after his Super Bowl LVII loss.
