Former USC quarterback Miller Moss, one of the top quarterbacks and players in the transfer portal, has committed to a new team for the 2025 season.
Moss is transferring to Louisville for the 2025 season where he will become the new starting quarterback for head coach Jeff Brohm.
Moss spent the past four seasons at USC, with the 2024 season being his first as the team’s full-time starter. He produced some mixed results for a disappointing 6-6 Trojans team, throwing for 2,555 yards, 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions in his nine games.
Landing Moss is a huge score for a Louisville program that has been on the rise for the past two seasons under Brohm.
After winning 10 games in 2023, the Cardinals came back in 2024 and put together an 8-4 record and are on their way to the Sun Bowl, where they will play the Washington Huskies.
Louisville climbed as high as No. 15 in the AP poll and No. 19 in the College Football Ranking this season and was in every single game it played. All four of the Cardinals’ losses were by one possession, including seven-point losses to playoff teams SMU and Notre Dame, as well as a close loss to Miami.
Louisville’s biggest win of the season was a 33-21 win over Clemson.
The ACC is winnable, and Louisville will enter the 2025 season in that discussion. Adding an experienced, talented quarterback will only add to the expectations and potential for next year’s team.
