Anthony Davis may have gotten to 2024-25 All-Star weekend thanks to his efforts as a Los Angeles Laker, but when he joins the festivities in San Francisco on Feb 14 he’ll be representing the Dallas Mavericks thanks to a trade sending Luka Doncic to Los Angeles.
“I believe that defense wins championships,” Mavericks GM Nico Harrison told ESPN about the seismic deal.
“I believe that getting an All-Defensive center and an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance. We’re built to win now and in the future.”
