It hasn’t been the season the Phoenix Suns envisioned, but they do carry some momentum into a clash with the Cleveland Cavaliers thanks to a 41-point performance from Devin Booker on Wednesday. Booker was 14-of-26 from the field and shot 50 percent from the three-point line, while Kevin Durant added 26 of his own in the 127-121 win over Chicago. The win moved Phoenix to just 33-37 on the season, but did put them into the final Western Conference play-in spot over the free-falling Dallas Mavericks.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Despite the lackluster season, there’s a good chance nobody wants to run into the scoring prowess of Booker and Durant in a single-elimination scenario. With that being said, how many of the players with the most 40-point games since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
