After dealing with an illness that caused him to drop 15 pounds just ahead of the 2025 season, Mookie Betts seems to be just fine. Over the weekend against the Detroit Tigers, Betts hit a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning and again in the 10th – this one a walk-off – proving to himself and the world that he’s a problem for pitchers even under-weight.
“I was really proud of myself for coming in and playing underweight, not that it’s a big deal to play underweight, but just the fight I’ve kind of been through,” Betts said. “I’m actually stronger than I was before.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Between his ability to hit for contact and power, Betts scores lots of runs. With that being said, how many of the MLB players to score at least 128 runs in a single season since 2000 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
